THE ADEN STORY
Aden was created on the Basque Coast in 2003 by Jean-Michel, a former salesman who decided to reconvert to jewelry design. Initially, Jean-Mi developed a range of silver-mounted glass jewelry. During a tourist trip to Bali, he met a local craftsman with whom he developed a friendship and wanted to diversify his collection. Together, combining their ideas, combining the riches of the Balinese shores and keeping an eye for detail, they created an innovative range of silver jewelry made from coral and mother-of-pearl. Produced in Bali, this jewelry is still imagined and marketed in France. In a second phase, Jean-Mi had the opportunity to expand the range by collaborating with India and introducing precious jewels to his panel. At the same time, he got Frédéric, his son-in-law, an advertising photographer and web specialist, interested in his little treasures. It was finally Frédéric who took over the reins of the company in 2018; he breathed new life into it by promoting Aden products on multiple Internet platforms. In so doing, he brought the company out of its shell and into the light of day.
At the same time, Clo, his whimsical wife, joined the Aden adventure with her husband. With a background in law and finance, she added her little pearl to the edifice, enabling the company to grow and guaranteeing the responsive customer service that is the pride of the company today.
Finally, in 2020, Théo, their son and grandson, joined the team. His fresh eye shakes up and encourages the older team to innovate, particularly through new tools such as video and social networks. He's definitely the jewel in the crown.
