In Greek mythology, the nymph Callista, meaning “the most beautiful” or “the purest,” was transformed into a bear by the jealous Hera, wife of Zeus. Later, Zeus placed Callista in the sky, where she became the constellation Ursa Major (the Great Bear). Since then, Callista has been associated with the stars and timeless beauty—perfect for a piece of jewelry symbolizingradiance and purity.
