The TAG Heuer Monaco was designed in 1969 by Jack Heuer, then president of the company. Its design was revolutionary at the time, featuring a square case, square pushers, and a metallic blue dial. It was the world’s first square, water-resistant automatic watch. The TAG Heuer Monaco is an iconic watch that has become famous for its bold design and its association with the world of auto racing, particularly thanks to its appearance in the 1971 film “Le Mans,” worn by actor Steve McQueen.
