A symbolic line, steeped in history, for which we have drawn on the heart of our roots.

Indeed, through this collection of superimposed mechanisms and cogs, we wanted to make a nod to our core business and recall our passion for the precision, meticulousness and beauty of the watchmaking world.

The Vesontio collection is also the emblem of a city. Indeed, the name of this iconic line refers to the original name of Besançon in Gallo-Roman times.

Our aim is to pay homage to the cradle of French watchmaking, the birthplace of MATY, the fruit of the dreams and visionary ideas of our founder, Gérard Mantion.

A timeless attachment to the brand, which is still headquartered in Besançon.

Vesontio is also a tribute to the women with whom we have forged such a strong bond over the years.

In fact, the precious gears woven in gold that criss-cross the layers of each jewel symbolize the attachment and perfect symbiosis between two complementary elements.

Through this collection of thirteen jewels and this symbolism of time, we are gradually weaving the cogs between an unforgettable past and a sparkling jeweler's future.
