A historic brand
In 1853, Charles-Félicien and his son Charles-Emile Tissot founded the eponymous company in Le Locle, Switzerland. From the outset, the watch brand was renowned for its innovation and technical expertise. In 1853, the company launched a pocket watch that made a lasting impression. It was the first to display two time zones, a remarkable technical feat at the time. It was also thanks to them that watches became accessible to the general public, with the first series production starting in the 1850s.
From Switzerland to the world
In 1930, Tissot joined the SSIH (Société Suisse pour l'Industrie Horlogère) watchmaking group, now known as Swatch. The brand was thus able to benefit from additional resources and means, and to become better known. The Swiss company went on to conquer the world with constant marketing efforts, while maintaining its commitment to quality and innovation.
A recognized brand
The brand has often been highlighted by celebrities who display these innovative timepieces on their wrists. Many celebrities from the worlds of film, music and sport have been seen wearing Tissot watches at public events or media appearances. The brand has also collaborated with some of these celebrities on advertising campaigns or special editions of jewelry. Like former French basketball player Tony Parker, who has been one of the watchmaker's emblematic ambassadors. In addition to serving as the face of the brand in various advertising campaigns, he has been entitled to his own special edition of Tissot watches.
A sporty brand
Tissot is deeply involved in the world of sport, as a partner of various sports federations and official timekeeper of numerous events. In particular, the brand is associated with basketball, cycling, ice hockey, rugby and tennis. It often provides special watches for officials and participants, and its presence at these events reinforces its image of precision and reliability.
A collector's brand
Tissot has a long history in watchmaking, and some of its historic watches are highly prized by collectors. Vintage watches, as well as limited or special editions, are of particular interest to watch enthusiasts who wish to complete their collection of rare timepieces. Some models have an important historical or symbolic value due to their association with significant events or famous personalities.

In addition to being beautiful and adaptable to all daily looks, they are equipped with advanced technological features: automatic movement, precise timing or Bluetooth connectivity. Wearing a Tissot watch is also synonymous with style.
A watch for men
Tissot also offers a special collection for men. The models are renowned for their reliability, precision and durability, making them reliable everyday companions. Men's watches feature rugged, masculine designs, with imposing cases, legible dials and sturdy bracelets. These watches are designed to withstand wear and tear and take a beating.
A watch for two
The Tissot range also includes unisex watches for both men and women. With a stainless steel bracelet, these tocantes embody the elegance and refinement of the Swiss watchmaker. Whether as a gift for your partner or for yourself, these interchangeable watches can be worn every day by either of you, if you so desire.
Swiss made quality
Tissot watches are made in Switzerland by highly skilled craftsmen. Years of watchmaking expertise are applied to the new collections. The materials used are of the highest quality: stainless steel, titanium, gold and genuine leather. Each component is subjected to rigorous controls to guarantee its quality and durability. Swiss Made means that these timepieces meet strict criteria established by Swiss legislation. To obtain this designation, at least 60% of the watch's production value must come from the country, the movement must be assembled there, and the watch must be inspected by the final manufacturer in Switzerland. This certification is synonymous with Swiss quality, precision and craftsmanship, and is widely recognized and respected in the watchmaking world. Tissot produces watches that meet this standard and proudly display the Swiss Made designation on their dials.
An ultra-comfortable bracelet
For both men and women, many Tissot models feature sublime leather straps. Available in a variety of colors, they blend perfectly with the yellow gold, white gold or silver that enhance the dials of these exceptional timepieces. Made from top-quality leather, these bracelets harmonize with everyday outfits. They stand the test of time, without ever chipping. The interior is made of soft leather for all-day comfort.
The originality of the gusset
In the purest respect for watchmaking tradition, the Swiss Maison also offers astonishing gussets. An ideal and original gift, this charming watch can be slipped into a pocket or handbag. Very popular in the 19th and early 20th centuries, gusset watches are true collector's items, handed down from generation to generation. Wearing a gusset watch was often considered a mark of elegance and social status. These jewels were made from precious materials, such as gold or silver, and could be adorned with engravings or precious stones. It was a symbol of wealth and pride. They're back in fashion!
T-sport to outdo yourself
The performance of the Tissot brand is recognized the world over. Not only for its watchmaking innovations, but also for its commitment to the values of sport. Challenge and surpassing oneself are an integral part of the brand's image, as illustrated by the T-Sport model in rubber, which accompanies enthusiasts of watches and physical feats. This collection of sporty timepieces features a very luminous dial, in all weathers and light levels. Tissot sports watches come in a range of functionalities ideal for diving, racing or hiking enthusiasts.
Color on the wrist
At Tissot, just because we're traditional doesn't mean we can't have fun! For several years now, colors have been the rhythm of the luxury Maison's collections. Blue leather straps, fir-green or electric blue dials, or a total golden look - anything goes. While the more classic brown, black or steel bracelets remain the benchmark models, those who like to diversify are spoilt for choice. Adding color to your wrist is also a way of expressing your personality. With daring or more subtle touches, Tissot caters for everyone with a variety of declinations, from the simplest to the most daring.
Technological transparency
When you love watches, you love to see them live and run. Tissot offers original models for enthusiasts who like to dissect the inner workings of watchmaking. Like the Gentleman Powermatic 80 Open Heart, which features a semi-transparent dial with a highly original vision. You can read the time while observing the heart of the jewel beating at the same time. Or the spectacular skeleton watch, whose entirely transparent dial reveals a well-oiled mechanism. An exceptional timepiece, in the image of a luxury brand that never ceases to renew itself.
